Library Week runs April 11-17. Neil Gaiman, author of so many great books including Coraline, American Gods and The Graveyard Book, is the Honorary Chair of the event.

To celebrate, he will speak about his lifelong love of libraries from 6-8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on April 12 in a live Internet event.  All Neil Gaiman fans and library lovers worldwide can participate by visiting on the day of the event.  We hope you can join us, but if you can’t make it, the video will be archived here, on

planet-earthHey! Here’s a great resource for all of us earthy-crunchy people who like to read about things that are good for us and good for our world. Even if you aren’t earthy-crunchy, it couldn’t hurt to visit the site and see if you can find something that is of interest to you. Visit the Whole Earth site for a what will one day be the complete online library (I hope) of their entire run. Now there’s a group that knows how to share good news. Thanks to the Whole Earth group who brought us this enlightening and engrossing publication then, and now!
